Watch the SnoMaster Fridge Freezer in real-world action on the trail!

In this video, we take the rugged SnoMaster portable fridge/freezer off the pavement and put it to the test in tough overlanding conditions. Built for adventure, this stainless steel AC/DC unit keeps food and drinks perfectly chilled even after hours of bouncing down rough trails, dust, and variable temperatures.

See how easy it is to run on 12V power straight from your vehicle, how efficiently it maintains temperature, and why it’s become a favorite among serious campers, overlanders, and off-road enthusiasts. Whether you’re deep in the backcountry or on a weekend trail run, the SnoMaster delivers reliable refrigeration where ordinary coolers fail.

If you’re looking for a tough, high-performance 12/24-volt fridge that can handle the demands of real off-road travel, this is it.

Snomaster & Wheretheroadendsmoto take on the Bonneville Salt Flats

How cool is this? ❄️🏍️

SnoMaster portable fridges hit the blazing Bonneville Salt Flats to support an epic motorcycle adventure! A crew of adventurous riders (including sidecar teams) is gearing up for an insane overland journey—from the Arctic Circle in Alaska all the way to Tierra del Fuego at the southern tip of South America.

In this clip, the team tests their SnoMaster refrigeration systems in extreme desert heat (over 100°F with the sun bouncing off the salt), keeping drinks ice-cold for the long haul. They even chat about setting a speed record for 650cc bikes with sidecars—right before (or after) delivering cold Cokes and water to the crew.

This expedition will tackle one of the world’s wildest routes, including driving straight through the notorious Darién Gap (not around it)—a throwback to classic 1970s Land Rover expeditions. A full documentary film is in the works, and you won’t want to miss it!

Huge thanks to SnoMaster for keeping the cold drinks flowing in the harshest conditions. Follow the journey with WhereTheRoadEndsMoto and stay tuned for more updates from the road.

SnoMaster 72L Stainless Steel Fridge/Freezer Review – Built for Real Adventures! ❄️🏕️

In this hands-on review, I take the SnoMaster 72L (made in South Africa) out for a beach trip to see how it performs in the heat. This isn’t your typical cheap plastic cooler you find at Walmart — it’s a rugged, expedition-grade 12V/110V dual-zone fridge/freezer with a stainless steel build that’s popular with overlanders in Australia and beyond.

I show you:

  • Setup and packing for the day
  • The 70/30 fridge/freezer split (fully adjustable)
  • Digital controls for precise temperature settings
  • How it runs efficiently even on low battery voltage (tested at 11.2V)
  • Interior features: baskets, LED lights, drain plugs, and frost-free operation
  • Included accessories: insulated travel bag, solar-powered remote, and more

It gets seriously cold (down to -38°F) and is perfect for camping, beach days, off-grid living, or even keeping insulin cool — super important for me as a diabetic.

If you’re serious about overlanding, van life, emergency preparedness, or just want reliable cooling that lasts, this unit is in a different league compared to Dometic, ARB, or Engel-style fridges.

SnoMaster 40 Fridge/Freezer on a Modded Ranger – Off-Road Testing at Mud Nats 2017! ❄️🚙💦

Rode out to Mud Nats (Nationals) 2017 with my buddy Charles in his heavily modified Ranger for some serious off-road testing. We put the SnoMaster 40 portable fridge/freezer through its paces in the mud, bumps, and rough terrain — and it performed flawlessly!

Even with all the splashing, bouncing, and tough conditions, this compact 12V fridge kept everything properly chilled without missing a beat. Perfect proof that SnoMaster units are built tough for real off-road and overlanding adventures.
